The brief to create a country-style kitchen made it an ideal project for solid oak, pastel colours, stone tiled floor, an aga and ceramic sink.

The solid oak circular bar to the end of the kitchen island gives a great contrast of materials and colours, between the wood and black granite worktops, nicely finished with matching stools.

The Farrow and Ball duck egg blue paint on the island works perfectly with the cream paint on the outer cabinets.
